In June, La Línea Vertical Perú carried out a specialised cleaning intervention of vertical translucent panels in one of the storage warehouses of an important company in the mining sector, reaffirming its position as a trusted supplier of technical services at heights for highly demanding industries.
The aim of the intervention was to restore the natural lighting in the warehouse, which had been considerably reduced by the accumulation of dirt on the translucent panels of the loft and vertical walls.
Combined technical solution: manlift and vertical techniques
In order to carry out the service efficiently and safely, The Vertical Line team applied a mixed access strategy. A manlift was used in all accessible areas and the operation was complemented with rope access techniques in areas where the use of the articulated arm was unfeasible, either due to the height of the enclosure or the presence of racks, machinery or accumulated goods in the vicinity of the walls.
This technical approach allowed for complete coverage, without affecting the client’s operations or compromising the safety of the working environment.

The cleaning included both the internal and external faces of the translucent panels, allowing natural light to enter the warehouse, significantly improving visibility, environmental comfort and indirectly favouring energy savings.
