Aware of the complex human challenges present in critical situations, G8 Capacitaciones, part of La Línea Vertical group, has developed a new and innovative training program focused on Emergency Psychology, designed specifically to address the challenges of well-being in major mining companies throughout Chile.

This course was developed in response to a specific need: to provide emotional and operational tools that enable rescue teams and workers to deal with emergency situations while maintaining calm, clarity, and safety, thereby reducing the risks associated with acute stress and the possible onset of post-traumatic stress.
On-the-job training in real-life work scenarios
The program consists of four intensive days, carried out directly in real mining work scenarios, allowing for highly practical and contextualized training.
During these sessions, participants face rescue simulations that combine technical and emotional factors, subsequently integrating guided work based on emergency psychology.
A multidisciplinary team dedicated to learning
The course is taught by a highly qualified team of professionals with experience in real emergencies:
- Psychologists specializing in trauma and emotional response,
- Nurses and clinical staff with rescue experience,
- Specialists in working at height and crisis management,
- Rescue workers and firefighters with operational experience in complex emergencies.
This combination of knowledge allows us to address emergencies from a comprehensive perspective: technical, human, and emotional.
Impact on occupational safety and well-being
Thanks to this program, the client organization has managed to strengthen the skills of its teams, promoting a more mature preventive culture focused on people’s well-being.
The scope achieved positions G8 Capacitaciones as a key player in the development of new training methodologies for the mining industry.
