Once again, we have renewed our sponsorship of Espeleosocorro Sin Fronteras, thereby consolidating a partnership that is now in its third consecutive year. In 2026, the team will take part in the latest edition of Rescue Great Day, one of the sector’s most prominent events at both national and international level. This event, which takes place from 29 April to 2 May in the province of Seville, brings together specialist rescue teams to tackle realistic scenarios combining drills, technical tests and demonstrations of state-of-the-art equipment.
Rescue Great Day is characterised by its practical and training-focused approach, offering an environment where participants can put their skills to the test in rope manoeuvres, victim evacuation and the management of complex situations, in both urban and natural settings. Furthermore, it serves as a key platform for the exchange of knowledge and the continuous improvement of techniques, directly contributing to greater efficiency and safety in real-life operations.
Event programme
- 29 April: welcome reception for participating teams, accreditation and initial coordination meetings.
- 30 April: start of technical trials on Isla de la Cartuja.
- 1 May: competition takes place at various urban locations across Seville, simulating real-life interventions in complex environments.
- 2 May: trials in natural surroundings, awards ceremony and closing ceremony.
As the main sponsor, we play a key role in the team’s preparations, providing them with access to INDRA’s specialist facilities in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz) thanks to the collaboration of STEC. These facilities enable us to simulate a wide range of rescue scenarios, facilitating realistic training that enhances the participants’ technical and operational skills.
