La Línea Vertical celebrates the international success of Espeleosocorro Sin Fronteras, a team we proudly sponsor and whose spirit, commitment and values we have always shared. We are honoured to accompany these cave rescue workers in every challenge and every achievement, convinced that their work represents the best of professionalism in vertical rescue.
Runners-up in Rope’n Rescue 2025
The Espeleosocorro Sin Fronteras team, made up of Pepe Merino, Emilio Rodríguez, Alonso Codes, Alejandro Pérez, Paco Mariscal and Bernardo Orihuela, has just won second place in the prestigious Rope’n Rescue 2025 competition held in Belgium.
During 24 intense hours, these specialists faced eight extremely difficult rescues, spread across natural and urban settings, and subjected to extreme conditions: night-time rescues in rivers, victims trapped on bridges and in confined spaces, manoeuvres with inflatable boats, climbing large trees and challenges on metal structures.

The first rescue began shortly after 2:00 a.m., and the last one ended after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, with less than three hours of rest throughout the competition. The team responded safely and effectively, achieving the best overall response time among all teams and demonstrating exemplary performance in each mission.
Shared values that achieve great challenges
The recent success of Espeleosocorro Sin Fronteras reaffirms the strength of teamwork, technical preparation and commitment that identifies us at La Línea Vertical and throughout the vertical rescue sector. We are united by a passion for tackling international challenges, the constant pursuit of excellence and a vocation to serve those who depend on our intervention. We are very proud to accompany Espeleosocorro Sin Fronteras on its journey, celebrating not only the podium achieved, but also the effort, dedication and values that we share and project to the world.
Next challenge: Chile, Grimpday South America
The adventure continues: Espeleosocorro Sin Fronteras is now preparing to compete in Grimpday South America in Chile, the most important vertical rescue event on the continent. We know that their professionalism, dedication and teamwork will take them to new heights, and we will continue to support them every step of the way.
At La Línea Vertical, we remain committed to hard work, training and collaboration. We congratulate Espeleosocorro Sin Fronteras on each achievement and for demonstrating, once again, that the spirit of excellence knows no boundaries.
