During December, the LLV Perú team carried out technical tests on the foam chambers of fuel storage tanks at a chemical plant located in the province of Lima.
To safely access the work areas, LLV’s specialised team installed certified temporary anchor points on top of the tanks, allowing personnel to descend in a controlled manner using rope access techniques.
These activities were carried out instrict compliance with IRATA international standards, as well as current national regulations on occupational health and safety and working at height, ensuring the use of fall arrest systems, certified equipment and safe procedures.
Thanks to proper planning, implementation of control measures, and application of safety standards, testing in the foam chambers was carried out efficiently, minimising risks and ensuring the integrity of personnel and facilities.
