G8 strengthens its technical standards with and in-house training session on fall protection system inspections

Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement

As a cornerstone of its operational strategy, G8 has conducted a high-level internal training session specifically aimed at its engineering staff and project managers. This initiative is part of the Annual Training Plan led by the Risk Prevention department, whose goal is to ensure that the company’s technical leadership not only complies with regulations but also leads the industry in terms of expertise. The main focus was on updating the inspection of fall protection systems, a critical element in ensuring operations meet the highest safety standards.

Advanced criteria for component inspection and analysis

This activity formed part of the company’s annual internal training programme, led by the Health and Safety department, which is responsible for ensuring that all professionals involved in operations keep their technical skills up to date, thereby guaranteeing that every intervention, assessment and project can be carried out to the highest standards and with a focus on ensuring that all tasks are performed 100% safely.

The training was not limited to conventional systems, but included an in-depth update on the latest technologies and configurations available on the global market. By incorporating knowledge of the latest equipment, G8 strengthens its advisory capabilities, enabling it to offer its clients superior technical expertise when assessing various types of fall protection systems. This specialist insight is key to adapting engineering solutions to the diversity of today’s industrial environments, always ensuring the most efficient and safe option.

Technical leadership and a culture of preventive safety

The training also covered updates on new technologies, equipment and system configurations, taking into account the wide range of solutions currently available on the market. This approach not only strengthens G8’s internal capabilities but also enables the company to provide its clients with a more professional, up-to-date and specialised technical assessment, allowing for a more accurate evaluation of the various types of fall protection systems available in the industry.

The session was led by the head of G8’s engineering department, who, drawing on his experience and specialist knowledge, provided the team with an up-to-date technical overview of the latest systems, emphasising the importance of professional, rigorous inspections that are tailored to the sector’s actual requirements. At G8, safety is built not only on-site, but also through ongoing training, technical updates and the preparation of those who design, inspect and supervise each solution.
