G8 developed and implemented a comprehensive project to install permanent fall arrest systems at the facilities of a major bottling company with a national presence, strengthening safety standards for working at height within the factory.
The objective of the intervention was to mitigate the risk of falls during preventive and corrective maintenance work carried out on roofs, metal structures, technical walkways, silos, and industrial equipment, ensuring safe operating conditions and regulatory compliance.
The system was designed and installed in accordance with applicable national and international regulations:
- Local Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
- EN 795 – Anchorage devices
- EN 353 – Sliding fall arrest systems
- EN 360 – Retractable devices
- ANSI Z359 (according to technical application)
- Manufacturer specifications and good engineering practices.
To ensure the expected result, the following was considered in the process:
- Prior structural inspection
- Verification of support strength
- Installation of anchors according to approved plans
- Assembly and tensioning of lifelines
- Load testing (according to technical requirements)
- Labeling and identification of the system
- Certification of the installed system

Each stage was carried out under specialized technical supervision, ensuring traceability, regulatory compliance, and proper integration with the existing infrastructure.
The factory now has a permanent, certified fall protection system, allowing work at height to be carried out under controlled conditions, reducing exposure to risk and strengthening preventive management.
G8 reaffirms its commitment to developing engineering solutions applied to safety in high-standard industrial environments.
