This month we proudly celebrate the tenth anniversary of G8 Vertical, headquarters of La Línea Vertical in Chile and a national benchmark in industrial work at height. A project launched in 2015, born from the vision and experience of three founding partners specialising in rope access, committed from the outset to offering comprehensive solutions: from technical maintenance, industrial engineering and specialised rescue, to the sale of certified equipment and professional training for the entire sector.
G8 Vertical’s journey is one of innovation, continuous improvement and constant evolution, driven by the trust of our customers and a team of professionals that currently numbers around thirty. The backing of La Línea Vertical, which became a majority shareholder in 2017, marked a turning point in our history. Since then, we have multiplied our technical capabilities, expanded operations throughout Chile and Latin America, and consolidated a brand recognised for excellence and international safety.
Milestones and steady growth
The trajectory of these ten years is built on key milestones: commercial agreements with global leaders such as 3M to distribute fall protection systems, certifications and technological collaborations, major industrial projects such as the construction of the Solar Thermal Tower, the supply of lifelines for the national rollout of 5G, and specialisation in the mining and energy sectors and in works of great technical complexity.
G8 Vertical has been a pioneer in Chile in integrating industrial rescue services, technical inspection with drones, and SENCE-accredited training through G8 Capacitaciones. This has enabled it to offer robust and tailored solutions, from design and execution to certification and training, always in accordance with the most demanding international standards.
Looking to the future
Today, G8 Vertical faces new challenges with the same ambition and rigour: expanding the stock and catalogue of 3M systems for a more agile response, activating an innovative commercial plan and strengthening the technical and administrative structure to respond to any industrial, documentary or engineering challenge. The commitment to training continues, with new courses available in both face-to-face and streaming formats, maintaining the commitment to provide safety tools and knowledge to companies and professionals throughout the country.
