G8 VERTICAL has carried out an important work in a leading thermoelectric power plant located in the Norte Chico of Chile, responsible for supplying electricity to the entire region. Specifically, our technicians specialised in rope access and work at height have carried out the change of covering plates on a large tripper belt at a height of more than 40 metres using rope access techniques. A project on which they have been working since January and which they successfully completed on 14 September. The work included the removal and installation of sheet metal to cover a tripper with a total surface area of more than 2,000 square metres.
