G8 VERTICAL has participated in the commemoration of the Safety Week that took place at Telefónica’s headquarters. For two days, our staff had the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences in a learning and collaborative environment.
G8 VERTICAL was present at the event together with two major companies, 3M and Petzl, in a shared 100 square metre stand, where we presented the latest trends in safety and technology, and shared our experience in the field of corporate safety.
We had a stand where we set up a small training centre to show the training courses that we carry out at G8 CAPACITACIONES, simulating in five circuits all aspects related to safety, from different points of view. Thus, we did safety simulations for working at heights; for working on poles; for work with exposure to electrical risks; for life-line systems, both horizontal and vertical, and evacuation systems, among many others.
The event was a great success. More than 500 people participated in the workshop activities, where they were able to learn about safety and how to prevent risks in the workplace. It was a great opportunity for attendees to learn hands-on and experience first-hand the innovative solutions we offer to improve safety in the workplace.
Participants also had the opportunity to meet safety experts from our organisation, as well as from 3M and Petzl, and discover the innovative solutions they offer to improve safety at work.
We were also able to exchange ideas and solutions with the participants, which allowed us to learn and grow together.
G8 would like to thank Telefónica Movistar, and in particular Karla Ávila and Claudio López for their invitation to participate in this important event where, once again, we reaffirm our collaboration and commitment to continue working together. In conclusion, this event has been a reflection of the strategic union of the work of several companies that pursue the same goal, which is safety.
