G8 VERTICAL performs the maintenance of a meteorological tower in Chile

A team from G8 VERTICAL has carried out important maintenance work on a meteorological tower of a wind farm in the Coquimbo region, in the Norte Chico of Chile and in the middle of the Atacama Desert.

The G8 VERTICAL team has risen to eighty meters in height to carry out the maintenance work, which has consisted of partially painting the structure, changing lightning rods, reinstalling meteorological instrumentation, and changing the support posts.

These works have been extended for three weeks, in which the G8 VERTICAL team has had to overcome technical difficulties such as the high altitude of the tower to climb heavy elements; the gusts of wind, which is especially strong in the afternoons, and the intense summer sun in the Atacama Desert.

Once again, G8 VERTICAL demonstrates that its prestige and value lie in the high training of its workers. We are a great team and a leading company that applies the safest rope access techniques in the sector in South America.
