At G8 Vertical we have taken on the challenge of reinforcing security in one of the most iconic transport systems in Chile: the Santiago Cable Car. It is a system of cabins with detachable clamps that mobilises more than 4,500 passengers per direction every hour and has become a key pillar for connectivity and tourism in the city.
In order to guarantee the safety of the ropeway, our specialised technicians have carried out the recertification of all the anchor points in each tower of the system, checking that each component complies with the highest safety standards. Thus, through rigorous tests with torque and dynamometer, we verify the strength and precise adjustment of each critical fastening.
It should be noted that in this work, our commitment has gone beyond certification, as we have also provided solutions that protect those who carry out the maintenance of the ropeway and ensure its safe and efficient operation. In every project we carry out, we reaffirm our intention to contribute to the development and safety of the infrastructures that give life to our creative spaces, fulfilling the slogan ‘Safety at every height, confidence in every anchorage’.
