For a whole month, G8 VERTICAL has carried out an extraordinary slope fortification work in a mining company in the north of Chile. The rehabilitation, fortification, and stabilization of slopes, as well as the installation of safe access routes (lifelines and via ferrata), is one of the specialties that we offer at G8 VERTICAL.

We are particularly pleased with the great work carried out. The order consisted of fixing more than 6,000 square meters of Deltax G80/2 mesh, for which some 60 flexible anchors were installed in 3 meter deep holes to support the weight of the mesh. At the same time, these meshes were sewn together to create a uniform and solid surface to support and slow the fall of materials, preventing them from sliding towards a frequently used road at the foot of the slope.
All this work was carried out on a terrain with completely vertical slopes in some sections, which required the participation of technical personnel trained to carry out high-risk maneuvers.

Precision, strength, resistance, professionalism, and safety are some of the words that can define the hard work carried out by the technicians of G8 VERTICAL, who managed to cut the planned delivery times and receive a warm congratulations from the client.
The photographs show, on the one hand, the physical conditions and climatic exposure to the sun and heat to which our technicians and collaborators were exposed. They also show the successful result achieved by the entire G8 VERTICAL team, from the technical office to the technicians on site.
