La Línea Vertical is an engineering company in hard-to-reach areas. We carry out rescue support work on large construction sites in the industrial sector in places such as refineries, chemical industries and power plants. Due to the fact that we are in the process of national and international expansion, we need to incorporate to our team in Huelva a heat tracing technician.

Mission of the job:
To carry out thermal and acoustic insulation work in industrial installations, applying heat insulation techniques to equipment, pipes and ducts, guaranteeing energy efficiency, safety and compliance with industrial and environmental regulations.
Main functions:
- Interpret drawings and technical instructions on insulation to be applied.
- Measure, cut and prepare insulation materials according to specifications.
- Installing insulation:
- Apply thermal insulation (hot and cold lagging) on pipes, valves, tanks, boilers and other equipment.
- Apply protective coatings of sheet metal (aluminium, galvanised or stainless steel).
- Use appropriate hand tools, power tools and protective equipment.
- Maintenance and repair
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of existing insulation.
- Replace deteriorated or non-compliant materials.
- Safety and quality:
- Strictly comply with industrial safety regulations, especially in ATEX or chemical risk areas.
- Verify the correct installation of insulation, avoiding thermal losses and operational risks.
Job requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of calorifuging.
- PRL training 60 hours minimum.
- TPC/TPM
- Specific training in industrial insulation or related vocational training is desirable.
- Valuable to be in possession of IRATA/ANETVA height qualification.
Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years as a calorifuge operator in industrial or similar environments.
- Experience working at heights, confined spaces and hazardous environments.
- Technical knowledge
- Types of insulating materials: rock wool, armaflex, elastomeric foam, etc.
- Drawing and folding of sheet metal.
- Reading industrial plans.
- Occupational risk prevention regulations (PRL).
Personal skills:
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
- Commitment to safety.
