JOB OFFER: SPANISH ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIAN FOR GERMANY

LA LÍNEA VERTICAL, an engineering company in difficult access areas, is in the process of expanding in Europe. We carry out inspection and maintenance work at heights in the industrial sector in refineries, chemical industries and power plants.

We need to incorporate an administrative technician with high knowledge of German and Spanish and with knowledge of English.

We Offer:

  • Incorporation to the international area of LLV, to develop work in projects mainly in Germany (currently Gelsenkirchen area), Austria, Belgium, Holland, for the next few years.
  • Initial project contract (6 months), in accordance with the Cadiz construction agreement. Change to permanent contract after 6 months.
  • Remuneration according to value in the range of 30.000€ gross/year all inclusive, with housing paid by the company as well as travel (2 trips back and forth per year).
  • Normal working hours M-F 8h, not including statutory breaks according to German law. The working hours may vary according to customers and needs at industrial stops. Overtime, if any, will be paid separately.

Skills:

  • A good knowledge of German, both spoken and written, is essential in order to be able to communicate with our client. English is recommended.
  • Proficiency in office applications such as Excel, Word, PWP tables. Willingness to learn new applications.
  • Knowledge of reading isometric plans, as well as drawing them freehand. Experience in the refining sector is recommended.
  • Although the current job does not require it, there is the possibility of complementing the office work with field work, in the future, by means of accredited training. If you do not have this, the company will provide the basic level of OF BASIC work at height technician from www.anetva.org.
  • International experience and knowledge of accounting and invoicing would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of climbing would be an asset.
  • A willingness to learn, dynamic and organised person would be an asset.

Job description:

  • You will be the office manager at GK and will support the team of high altitude technicians.
  • You will report to the coordinator and head of the technical office.
  • You will be in charge of the daily organisation of the works: preparing isometrics, control of executed works, planning of works for the teams, help with work permits, among others.
  • You will translate/interpret for our operations technicians.
  • You will attend meetings with the client to organise the team’s daily/weekly work.
  • You will collaborate in the execution of the client’s inspection plan, meeting weekly inspection performance targets, sorting and classifying all technical documentation to speed up the work.
  • You will support the edition of summary reports of the work carried out in the field, depending on the technical manager of the department, as well as online invoicing of work reports.
