LA LÍNEA VERTICAL, an engineering company specializing in difficult-to-access areas, is urgently seeking technicians with ISO9712 N1-N2 qualifications in UT1. We offer:
- 6-month project contract, with pay based on merit and experience in accordance with the construction industry agreement.
- Conversion to a permanent contract after 6 months.
Description:
LLV is in the midst of a period of rapid expansion in Europe. We carry out traditional (ground-based) and high-level inspection work in the industrial sector in refineries, chemical plants and power stations.
The successful candidates will be assigned to the international department and will work on projects in Germany primarily.
Working hours: L-F, 8 hours per day, 8am-4pm, with the possibility of variation depending on clients and shutdowns.
Salary: Based on merit, within the range of €4,000-5,500 gross per month, all-inclusive, with accommodation and travel expenses covered by the company.
Valuable:
- Good command of English for communication with our client.
- German is desirable.
Skills and qualifications:
- ISO9712 accreditation in force according to CERTIAEND in the following specialities:
- Required: UT LEVEL 1 for wall thicknesses.
- Desirable: Radiography (RT) Level 2, Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Level 2, Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) Level 2, Visual Testing (VT) Level 2 and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 1 for wall thicknesses.
- UT Level 2 inspectors for welds
- Knowledge of how to read and draw isometric drawings freehand.
- Experience in the refining sector is desirable.
- Although not required for the current position, there is the possibility of working at height in the future, with accredited training provided. If you do not have this training, the company will provide the basic level of OFBASIC height work technician training from www.anetva.org
- Basic IT skills.
- Training in the construction sector (TPC) and the basic PRL 60h level are desirable.
- Other vocational qualifications (pipefitter, welder, etc.) and experience in working with pipe insulation will be valued.
Job description:
- Field inspector for the application of NDT in different industrial plants, collaborating with inspection companies for end clients such as BP OIL, BASF and BAYERN OIL.
- Implementation of the client’s inspection plan, with compliance with weekly inspection performance targets.
- Collaboration in the editing of summary reports of the work carried out in the field, under the supervision of the technical manager of the department.
