LA LÍNEA VERTICAL closes 2022 with its all-time work record

LA LÍNEA VERTICAL has closed the year 2022 with its historical work record, a milestone that, according to the company’s CEO, Carlos Martín, has been achieved thanks to the staff: “We have a very strong team at all levels and categories of the company, both in management, in the technical and engineering office, in logistics, among those responsible for the execution of the work and, in general, all the workers who make the work possible. The chain works and has allowed us to succeed”.

This historical record of work has led to an increase in the number of clients, people hired, hours worked by each employee and billing, reaching business figures of seven million euros in Europe and nine globally.

As has happened in all companies, the pandemic also affected LA LÍNEA VERTICAL, reducing work, staff, results and turnover. The year 2021 was not a good one for the company, as the increase in fuel and travel costs, social expenses and the difficult situation in the petrochemical and energy sector further complicated the situation. However, we have been able to reverse this situation throughout 2022 and have had a very good year, to the extent that it has been our best year ever in terms of turnover. This is a great satisfaction for the company and will allow us in 2023 to increase the staff, make significant investments in technology and increase business resources, in order to continue to position ourselves ahead of the competition and remain one of the largest companies in the sector and an international benchmark.

We would also like to highlight the absence of occupational accidents throughout the year 2021, something of which we are particularly proud and without which our activity would be meaningless, as safety is the essence of our company.

LA LÍNEA VERTICAL is currently present in all the major industrial centres in Spain: La Coruña, Bilbao, Puertollano, Tarragona, Cartagena, Castellón, Huelva and Campo de Gibraltar. In addition, we have increased our international business with projects in different European countries; specifically, during the year 2022 we have increased our work by more than 50% compared to the previous year, especially in Austria and Germany.

Of the projects carried out last year, we would highlight the repair of the distillation tower at OMV’s refinery in Schwechat in Vienna (Austria), damaged during a water pressure test incident, which was a real test for all levels of our company and which we successfully overcame.Secondly, our international presence was reinforced by a stand at PRC Europe 2022, the annual European congress for the petrochemical and gas industry, which took place in Helsinki (Finland).

In 2023, we want to continue being the reference company in industrial work at height in Spain, Chile and Peru, maintaining and increasing our clients and projects, with the main objective of maintaining the growth of the international business. We will start the activity in the recently opened headquarters in Qatar and we will expand our clients in Europe, focusing especially on Belgium, the Netherlands, Romania, Austria and Germany.
