LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERÚ ended the year 2023 by taking a leading role in heading up a comprehensive training programme focused on rescue work at height and work in confined spaces for the brigade members of a major biochemical company in Peru. This effort by the company to train its employees demonstrates its commitment to occupational safety, providing workers with the skills and knowledge necessary to address risk situations, thereby strengthening emergency response capabilities and ensuring a safer and more efficient working environment in the biochemical field.
The training programme, which spanned a period of six days, brought together groups of 20 participants per session, highlighting the commitment and individualised attention provided.
At LA LÍNEA VERTICAL we strongly support the idea of conducting this type of training inhouse, arguing that this modality is more closely aligned with the daily reality in which participants perform their duties. It allows workers to familiarise themselves with the specific environments in which they carry out their daily work, adapting the lessons and safety strategies to the actual conditions of the workplace.
The main objective of these trainings is to prevent accidents during the execution of work in confined spaces and at elevated heights by equipping participants with the necessary skills to identify and address potential risks. This proactive approach underlines the importance of workplace safety and reflects LA LÍNEA VERTICAL’s dedication to providing practical and customised solutions to ensure the protection of workers in challenging environments.
