LA LÍNEA VERTICAL remains more than ready to meet its major challenges, especially its international expansion into Central Europe. For another year we have passed the audits of our Integrated Management System. “Maintaining certifications is an important aspect in the company, without them we would not even be able to bid for many tenders or work with certain clients, even at the international level,” explains María José Romero, head of the Integrated Management System department.
“The results have been very satisfactory, as we have had zero nonconformities, neither minor nor serious. Certifications help us to be able to show our customers that our system works,” she adds. Although they may insist on other aspects in Germany, we can demonstrate that our way of working, that our integrated management system is perfectly in line with what they may ask of us. The Integrated Management System audits this year consisted of the recertification of the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard, in addition to the monitoring of the UNE-EN ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Also of the monitoring of the UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems. “The main novelty is that after two years the auditors have made site visits,” says Romero. “After the pandemic, the auditors have been able to go to the refinery and have been with our field colleagues and seen how we work.”
A company in constant improvement
LA LÍNEA VERTICAL has thus passed the three audits of the ISO standards for quality, environmental and health and safety management systems, demonstrating continuous improvement. “Our auditors always see that we are effectively keeping these systems up to date, because at the end of the day, in the audits from one year to the next, you also have to show what you have improved, what you have changed. These are aspects that we work on throughout the year and this is reflected in the audit results, as we have no non-conformities,” says María José Romero. We are a business project in constant evolution. At LA LÍNEA VERTICAL we work, day by day, on our commitment to leadership and excellence. “It is significant because we work on the management system and we are continuously improving it. It is not that we have a system in place and some certifications and we forget them, no. The results of the audit have been very satisfactory because we have maintained a line of continuous improvement, as we have been doing in recent years. And that is perhaps the most important thing. It means that we are constantly growing,” says the head of the Integrated Management System department.
