LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERU repairs the feed pipelines of some wheat silos

A team of technicians from La Línea Vertical Perú has repaired the feeding pipelines of some wheat silos that had several perforations, which caused a significant loss of material for the owner company.

The location of the boreholes added to the complexity of the repair work, as they were located at the bottom of the pipelines, where access was practically impossible without rope access techniques.

In this way, to reach the holes through which the material was leaking, zip lines were installed from the top of the silos to the highest part of the nearby buckets, allowing the technicians of La Línea Vertical to position themselves at the height of the perforations and carry out the repairs.

The repair process consisted of cleaning the area and applying a chemical sealant. Finally, the area was covered with a galvanised aluminium panel.

The result has been very satisfactory for both our company and the customer.
