LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERÚ repairs wind turbine blades

A pair of technicians from LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERÚ, both IRATA and GWO qualified, carried out repair work on the blade guards of two generators in the south of the country during the month of July.

The repair work consisted of two parts. The first part involved cleaning the existing grease from the base of each of the three blades, followed by a second part in which the guards were replaced. In this last phase, we used longer bolts than those previously used, to finally seal the edge of the blade belt cover with adhesive sealant.

For the execution of the work, we took advantage of low wind windows, which allowed us to have long working days and to finish the service earlier than expected by the client.
At LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERÚ we have experienced work groups, with total geographical availability and specific tools, to support welding, cleaning or maintenance work on boilers, wind turbines, harbor cranes, floating docks, cable cars, mines, etc.
