La Línea Vertical completes the implementation of mobile fall protection systems for working on trucks at a cement factory in a comprehensive project divided into two phases:
Phase I: Assembly of the structure
As part of the first phase of the project, Línea Vertical Perú, in coordination with a trusted metalworking company, successfully designed and executed the assembly of a mobile gantry-type structure. This structure has been designed to provide safe and reliable support, complying with the technical and safety standards required for working at height.
This structure was designed based on structural calculations carried out by a chartered engineer, ensuring that it can support the loads transmitted by the lifeline, mainly at its start and end anchors.
Phase II: Implementation of the Security System
The second phase of the project consisted of installing an overhead lifeline, which will significantly improve staff safety conditions, facilitating safe movement and reducing the risks associated with maintenance and operation work at height on lorries within the factory.
