In a company like LA LÍNEA VERTICAL it is essential to have the right equipment for each job and that such equipment is always in perfect condition, with its certification up to date. Luis Rosado is the person who makes sure that all of this is fulfilled.
Luis Rosado is the company’s warehouse manager and is in charge of logistics, both for personal equipment and the resources used by the field technicians on each project. Specifically, he receives new vehicles and monitors their maintenance, assigns and prepares all the material resources necessary for each job, ensures that the material and equipment used are up to date according to regulations, and checks them before and after each use to ensure that they are in perfect condition.
Next June, Luis Rosado will celebrate 18 years at LA LÍNEA VERTICAL. He started out as a delivery man for the company’s early operations in Gibraltar and, as the company grew, his previous experience working in the warehouse of one of the world’s leading airport retail operators led him to organise LA LÍNEA VERTICAL’s first warehouse. He also became the purchasing manager, a role he combined with that of warehouse manager until last year.
“We form a chain and no link is more important than another”.
He considers that his evolution in the company has been thanks to the collaboration of his colleagues and the good understanding that exists between all of them, since, in his opinion, “this is a very complicated job to carry out without the collaboration of his colleagues”. And although it may seem that the warehouse is an insignificant part of the company, the reality is that it carries a great deal of responsibility. In fact, Luis Rosado points out that “without the work we do here, it would be impossible to carry out projects”. For our warehouse manager, “all departments in the company are equally important”. He maintains that the work carried out directly with the customer “could not be carried out without the work of the colleagues in the office and in the warehouse. We form a chain and there is no link that is more important than another, because everyone has a role to play in the company and is essential in their field”.
