At LLV Peru we reaffirm our commitment to occupational safety and the continuous improvement of working conditions at height. Recently, one of our main clients in the industrial sector presented us with a specific need: to implement a fall protection system to ensure the safety of their maintenance technicians during work on trucks located on walkways specially designed for tasks such as toning.
After a detailed analysis of the requirements and environmental conditions, LLV Perú’s engineering department, in coordination with our trusted metal mechanics, developed a customised technical solution. The system designed consists of five steel posts welded directly to the structural bases of the walkways, providing a robust and secure fastening.
A horizontal lifeline was installed on these posts, using the PATROL – ON WALL system from the European brand Rothoblaas, renowned for its high quality and resistance. This system, manufactured entirely in stainless steel, is certified under the EN 795:2012 standard, which guarantees compliance with the most demanding international safety standards for work at height.
Once the installation was completed, our technical team provided practical and theoretical training to the customer’s maintenance staff, focusing on the correct use of the system, safe connection and movement practices, and pre-checking of the system elements before each use.
This solution not only meets the technical and regulatory requirements, but also reinforces the culture of prevention and care that we promote at LLV Peru.
