LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERÚ, through its Engineering Department, annually coordinates the planning of maintenance and recertification of installed lifelines in accordance with regulatory requirements, thus ensuring compliance with established standards.

At the end of last December, we began the management process for the recertification of lifelines installed at a leading explosives company in Peru. In mid-January, the recertification of vertical fall protection lines installed on cat ladders was carried out, along with the recertification of horizontal lifelines on emulsion silos. This process ensures compliance with the necessary safety standards to guarantee the protection of workers operating in critical areas such as emulsion silos.

During the annual maintenance of the systems, an exhaustive inspection of all their components is carried out to verify their functionality and ensure that they are in optimal condition for use. This review allows the certification to be extended for an additional period of 12 months, in compliance with the provisions of EN793 or EN353-1 regulations.
This is a necessary procedure to guarantee the safety of workers, which is one of the main objectives of LA LÍNEA VERTICAL.
