La Línea Vertical is involved in a cleaning and anti-corrosion treatment project for fuel storage spheres in one of the main port terminals in Peru, and after more than a month and a half of work, the external maintenance of the first fuel storage sphere has been successfully completed.
The project initially envisaged the restoration of four spheres, however, as one of them was in a more critical state, due to several points of external corrosion, our team of technicians began to focus on it.At the end of the work in this area, quality tests were carried out at each repaired point, ensuring the effectiveness and durability of the interventions carried out.
In the coming weeks, work will continue in the other three areas.With these procedures in place, we are not only ensuring that the service life of the spheres is prolonged, but also minimising the operational risks associated with fuel storage.
