One of the main objectives of LA LÍNEA VERTICAL for this year is to develop the activity in our recently created headquarters in Qatar: LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PETROLEUM SERVICES, born from the creation of a joint venture with Watad Group to provide service in Qatar and the entire Arabian Gulf area for work at heights and areas of difficult access.
Our partner liaison with LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PETROLEUM SERVICES, engineer Mr. Haytham Jaradat, has visited us to learn first-hand about the work carried out by LA LÍNEA VERTICAL in Europe and thus facilitate his technical and commercial work with clients in Qatar.
The first stop on the visit was the Huelva chemical centre. There we showed him how our teams work in the large shutdown of the CEPSA La Rábida Refinery, where we carry out non-destructive testing at height, repair and maintenance of chimneys, inspection of flares, and we also have a 24-hour rescue team.
Subsequently, Mr. Haytham Jaradat travelled to Germany accompanied by our International Business Manager and director of the company’s project in Qatar, Vanessa Escoí, to see the high-altitude radiography work that we carry out there in various industrial locations.
Finally, he visited LA LÍNEA VERTICAL’s headquarters in La Línea de la Concepción and our training centre for work at height, where the entire team of our company, from the management to the technical field staff, was able to exchange opinions, experiences and work procedures with him, which was very enriching for all parties.
The visit also provided an opportunity to coordinate the dispatch of teams to the Asian country and to discuss staffing issues. Mr. Haytham Jaradat is an engineer and has a long history in the refining world, with more than 10 years of experience in Non Destructive Testing projects in Kuwait. We are confident that his technical skills and knowledge of the country together with Watad Group’s business contacts will allow us to develop projects in Qatar during 2023 and this will be the beginning of a successful trajectory of LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PETROLEUM SERVICES.
