LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERU installs fall protection systems at a company in Arequipa

LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERÚ has been working throughout the year on the implementation of fall protection systems for a client in Arequipa. Specifically, overhead systems have been installed for the maintenance of this company’s overhead cranes, with posts and anchorages designed specifically for each of the cranes on which the lifelines have been installed. This project has been developed in four stages.

In December, the implementation planned for 2023 was completed with the manufacture and installation of a five-metre ladder with a vertical fall arrest system that allows access to the roof of the facilities, where six anchor points were also installed to allow technicians to carry out maintenance on the extractors located on the roof.

During the time that the work to implement the fall protection systems lasted, two training sessions on working at heights and industrial rescue were also given to our client’s maintenance technicians and supervisors.

LA LÍNEA VERTICAL is already working on the second phase of the fall protection systems project in this company, which will be developed in 2024 and will include the installation of lifelines in the Arequipa Plant and the start of work in the Lima Plant.
