LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERU takes emergency action during Cyclone Yaku

Cyclone Yaku, which has lashed Peru with heavy rains for more than a week, has caused significant damage across the country, with a Red Alert being declared in Lima on Tuesday 14 March.

The cyclone’s impact has affected the plants of many companies, whose warehouses were flooded, requiring urgent repairs to roofs, gutters and downpipes to avoid loss of production or goods.

LA LÍNEA VERTICAL PERÚ, with a team of more than 14 technicians, attended to customers’ emergencies, carrying out repair work in shifts of up to ten hours, from Monday to Saturday, during the last 20 days of March.

The activities carried out included the replacement of more than 200 linear metres of guttering, the maintenance of 2,000 metres of guttering and the maintenance of almost 4,000 square metres of roofing.This work has enabled our clients to continue their business after the devastation caused by Cyclone Yaku.
