More than a decade serving the wind energy sector

La Línea Vertical has been providing services to the wind energy sector for more than ten years, both in Spain and in South America. We have an experienced work group that carries out inspection and maintenance work on wind turbine blades, nacelles and shafts; it also supports work in other areas, such as meteorological stations.

La Línea Vertical technicians inspect the exterior of the blades using different methods. They can check their general condition from the ground, with telescopes or special cameras, or from the air with drones. Sometimes they also use platforms and rope positioning techniques.

Internal inspection of the blades is carried out by means of thermography, videoscopes or cameras. And when it is necessary to repair the outer suspended coating of the blades, the work is carried out using platforms or rope access systems.

As for the nacelle, our technicians repair structural or aesthetic damage to the structure, as well as electrical or electronic components (transformers and ventilation systems, among others), in addition to carrying out all kinds of work to replace logos or anti-slip systems, anemometers and other equipment.

We also work on the shaft of the wind turbine. We repair any surface damage, such as damage caused by corrosion or oil spills; we also repair protective coatings and paints, or carry out purely aesthetic repairs. For this, we use vertical techniques, suspended motorised scaffolding or lifting platforms.

At La Línea Vertical we carry out other work, such as checking fall arrest systems, lifelines and anchor points. Our team also checks the lifting systems and their auxiliary components (slings, carabiners and lanyards, among others).

Our company is a specialist in Non Destructive Testing and we apply all our knowledge in this field, especially in the wind energy sector, with advanced ultrasonic techniques and X-rays at height.

In summary, we offer a complete wind turbine inspection and maintenance service, both in Spain and in South America, with a long track record that backs us up.
