LA LÍNEA VERTICAL has been awarded for the third consecutive time the contract for the non-destructive testing service (END), focused on the inspection of pipes, equipment and others, at Repsol’s chemical pole in Tarragona for a period of two years.
The core of this service is the ultrasonic thickness measurement of insulated and non-insulated process pipelines, including application in very high temperature pipelines, as well as industrial gammagraphy.
In this third consecutive contract awarded by Repsol Tarragona, the service has been extended, as the chemical plant has now been added to the work previously carried out at the refinery, doubling the services expected over the next two years.
LA LÍNEA VERTICAL intends to develop the service with permanent staff in the Tarragona chemical pole area, increasing the number of workers by the necessary amount during the peaks of scheduled shutdowns.
